My name is Janell Lewis and I am a Michigan State University graduate and currently live in East Lansing, Michigan. I am finishing my student teaching internship at Dewitt Junior High in Dewitt Michigan. I am interested in obtaining a secondary teaching position in social studies and/or sociology.
About me!
I am someone who loves teaching. This yearlong internship just reinforced that and I cannot wait to start my own personal career and begin getting involved with students and a community. I love to travel and am willing to go pretty much anywhere in the world in search of learning oppurtunities. Some hobbies of mine are: knitting, scrapbooking, photography, cheerleading, reading, and traveling. My friends and family are the most important thing in the world to me. I am a very happy person with tons of energy.
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do because I love experiencing everything life has to offer. I have spent the last three summers traveling. One summer I explored the United Kingdom and next I explored the rest of Europe including: Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Portugal, Holland, Austria, and Monaco. These experiences have given be an appreciatian of other cultures and I have been able to bring pictures and resources that I have gathered from these places into my classroom. I love seeing and learning about new cultures and bringing those experiences into the classroom!
